The Student Union of South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences (Kaakko) will organize representative council elections from October 27 to November 5, 2025. In the elections, 20 full members and up to 20 deputy members will be elected from among the student union members to form the representative council for the year 2026. The elections will be conducted electronically.
All members of the student union who have paid their membership fee by October 1, 2025 at 11:59 AM are eligible to stand as candidates. The nomination period begins on August 25, 2025 at 8:00 AM and ends on October 1, 2025 at 12:00 PM.
Candidates may form electoral alliances, each consisting of at least two candidates. These alliances may also join together to form electoral coalitions.
All student union members who have paid their membership fee are eligible to vote. Membership status will be verified no later than nine (9) days before the voting begins. You are considered a member of the student union if you have a valid Kaakko student card or a mobile student card.
Voting will take place electronically via a link sent to your student email. Voting opens on October 27, 2025 at 8:00 AM and closes on November 5, 2025 at 3:00 PM.
