The Student Union Kaakko’s Representative Council has held it’s organizing meeting 1.12.2022.
At the meeting it was confirmed that the members of the Representative Council of 2023 are Emmi Hartama, Taneli Arasuo, Esa Hämäläinen, Katriina Janhunen, Tanja Järnstedt, Tapio Hakola, Aino Nurmi, Minni Takala, Ella Räty, Sara Elosuo, Janne Otava, Jasmin Salmi, Kati Kananen, Veijo Tikka, Lauri Pasonen, Katja Ääpälä, Eetu Laakso, Martti Tyrväinen, Claudia Barros and Julia Laakso.
The deputy members of the Representative Council are Joona Räty, Pauli Vilkko, Jihan Azzan, Tatjana Veselova, Tuukka Seppälä, Janina Sihvonen, Niclas Valpola, Joona Karjalainen, Jimi Merilampi, Samreen Muzaffar, Henrik Haaja, Jarno Pystynen and Niklas Petrow.
The president of the representative council was elected Emmi Hartama, X field student from Kouvola campus and the vice president was chosen as Taneli Arasuo, community educator student from Mikkeli campus.
– I am truly impressed with trust and I look forward to the coming year. We have a top presidents in both the representative council and the board, and I hope for diamond cooperation in the coming period as well, comments the newly elected President of the Representative Council Emmi Hartama.
At its meeting, the Representative Council also elected the Presidents and members of the Board for 2023. The president of the board was elected Emmi Matinheikki, hospitality managment student from Mikkeli campus.
The vice-presidents of the board were elected Laura Laakso, paramedic student from Kotka campus, Ikram Bechari, BBA- digital international business student from this campus, and Terppa Kuismin, community educator student from Mikkeli campus. The order of the vice-presidents is decided when the board has it’s first meeting.
The board members were elected: Nelli-Noora Kortelainen, hospitality management student from Kotka campus, Anne Halinen, bachelor of Building Services engineering from Mikkeli campus, Päivi Räsänen, BBA student from Mikkeli campus, Atte Tamminen, bachelor of Social Services student from Kotka campus, Jesse Rinneranta, bachelor of game programming student from Kotka campus and Miika Hämäläinen, BBA student of security from Savonlinna campus. The board assigns responsibilities when the board has it’s first meeting.

The Representative Council and the Board will start their duties on 1.1.2023 and the term of office will last until 31.12.2023.
